Rayleigh Town Junior Quiz

On Tuesday 17th April, a mixed team of year 6 pupils took part in the final of the Rayleigh Town Junior Quiz, held in the Rayleigh Evangelical Church.  

Pairs of children sat poised behind buzzers for their set of questions asked by the quiz master. 

Eight categories, including subjects such as Ancient History, In the News, Words and Harry Potter, were put before the pupils in an exciting atmosphere.  

Rayleigh were in the lead up to round 2 but then dropped to second place, closely behind another team, until the very last round whereby they had to find a variety of connections.  An outstanding effort was made by all children, resulting in a superb win for the team.  Congratulations to all who took part.
