ENHANCED SCHOOL SPORT PARTNERSHIP MEMBERSHIP 2015/16 Website Statement RAYLEIGH PRIMARY SCHOOL

Dear Parents.

In addition to our investment into the ‘Basic’ membership services provided through the School Sport Partnership, we have also bought further support through ‘Enhanced’ membership.  This is a bespoke annual plan tailored to suit the specific needs of our school.

On a weekly basis our school has also invested in the support of specialists from The Deanes School to provide curriculum delivery to our youngest children in Foundation and Key State 1.  This totals 4 hours per week and allows the children to enjoy high quality lessons in a broad range of areas and our staff have the opportunity to learn from the PE specialist deliverers.

We are also using the funding to enhance our extra-curricular offer and encourage more children to enjoy School Sport.  We are currently funding 1 lunchtime and 1 after school club per week to ensure our offer is broad and accessible.
