Year 4 Egyptian Day
On the 15th of May, Year 4 experienced Egyptian Day!
In the morning, they had fun making delicious Egyptian 'wine!' (pretending to be nobles).
Afterwards Year 4 were archaeologists and dug for Egyptian artefacts!
Next they were scribes and wrote secret messages in hieroglyphics for each other to decipher.
When break time was over, Year 4 were set the challenge of creating a boat to sail on the Nile. This investigation got highly competitive!
As well as this Year 4 mummified their toys and then themselves!
In the afternoon, the whole year group participated in a hieroglyphics hunt on the playground.
What a day! Hopefully they had fun and enjoyed themselves!
