Dear Parents and Carers

Hello and welcome to our newsletter J

Our Mothers Day sale is to be held on Tuesday 10^th March.  The children will have the chance during the day to buy special gifts for all you lovely mummies. We suggest that £3 is a good ammount to send in for the sale. We also need some helpers for the day so if you fancy getting involved then please leave your name and contact details with the office.

Anna our lovely uniform lady had decided to move on to pastures new so we are looking for spmeone new to run the uniform shop.  If you think you could be the person we need then please leave your details in the office and someone will contact you.

We are giving the new Love Lane Lotto a real push this year. You can put in as little as a pound a month and stand a chance of winning a great cash prize. All the money raised is to be put into ICT in school. As I am sure you know technology moves at an alarming rate and the school try to keep up with all ideas that will benefit the children. The Lotto will be drawn once a month.

The January winners were: 

 1^st prize  Mrs Whittingham  £20      2^nd Karen Seal  £10.50    3^rd Karen McMeekin  £5.50          Well done.

If you would like to join you can pick up a form from the office and pay either by standing order or cash. The prize money is half the totals raised so the more people the bigger the prize! As they say, ‘you have to be in it to win it!!

The next school disco is booked for Friday 13^th March. Tickets will be available in advance only and won’t be available on the day so make sure you send in your request in plenty of time. All ticket requests must be in by Monday 9^th March. Please note tickets are dealt with by the PTA and as lovely as the office ladies are they are not able to issue tickets so requests need to go in a sealed envelope with PTA-school disco written on the front. Thank you.

.Our next PTA meeting is on Friday 20^th March at 2.15pm. All welcome. Just sign in at the office and you will be directed to the right room. Come and have a cuppa and share your ideas.

The following meeting will be our AGM on Friday 24^th April at 2pm. We need as many members as possible to attend this meeting and we welcome any applications for all committee roles. A nomination letter will be sent out before the meeting.

We have also set up a fete sub committee and our first meeting is on Thurs 26^th March at 7.30pm. The meeting is at Jeanette Ridgley’s house and if you would like the address then please ask the office ladies who will be able to help you. New people and new ideas always welcome J
